Streaming devices with the Audiophile Streaming Architecture (ASA) G1, produced between 2007 and 2015, now receive a free update that integrates the airable service. This allows you to enjoy your favorite stations again – without additional hardware or complicated settings.

Why This Update Was Needed

The previous internet radio provider, vTuner, unexpectedly shut down its service, disconnecting over 20,000 devices from internet radio. T+A quickly partnered with the trusted companies airable GmbH and Audivo GmbH to develop a solution that restores the service – easily, quickly, and at no cost to you.

Notes:

• The development of the ASA G1 streaming module generation took place at a time when streams and podcasts from internet radio stations were still transmitted without encryption. For this reason, the ASA G1 streaming modules, due to their design, do not support encrypted transmission (HTTPS). Consequently, streams or podcasts that are only available in an encrypted format cannot be played.
